Debrief:
Bally Mountain is a tricky climb with a very rewarding finish. The path is peaceful and quiet as there is very rarely other people hiking this mountain. There are things to watch out for though. The path is quite steep so the is chance of slipping especially if the path is wet. I would advise you to choose a day when it is nice and sunny. There is also a lot of long grass so this would not be ideal if you have allergies. There are plenty of marks on the trees to tell you where you are going. The pink dots indicate that you are going the right way, and there is also a large log at the start of the ridge. At this log you will want to take a right turn and follow the path all the way to the lookout. After walking along this path for a bit you will come across a section where you are required to climb across. Overall a great hike and one I would definitely recommend.
